Free enterprise is the greatest engine for human progress ever devised. However, an economic system is only sustainable when its incentives align with human well-being. Somewhere along the line, corporate metrics shifted from long-term value creation to short-term asset extraction. An economy that measures success purely by paper profit margins while baseline operational stability erodes is an economy built on sand. Ethical free enterprise requires structural discipline. It means building robust, asset-backed businesses that treat reliability as a core obligation. When we shift our focus from speculative returns to sustainable infrastructure investment, we create an economy capable of generating long-term wealth, upward mobility, and durable stability for the next generation.
